Important Information about this release of Fluke Power Analyze

Demo Data File

To familiarize you with the function of the Fluke Power Analyze software we have included some demonstration data.

The demonstration data is in a file named Data 10122009.odn, this file is located in the directory Demonstration Data on this CD.  To optimize the performance of handling this file you should copy the file to the default operating directory which is created during installation of the Fluke Power Analyze. The directory is named Fluke and is created in the ‘My Document’ directory.

Fluke 1750 Power Analyze Version 2. 1- Known Issues

1.      We recommend uninstalling previous versions of Power Analyze first before installing Power Analyze V2.1.

2.      The standard user directory for measurement data has changed from My Documents\PQ to My Documents\Fluke\Power Analyze.
This directory now contains sub folders for Reports, Report Configurations, Report Templates, Limit Configurations and Tolerance Curves.

We recommend moving the measurement data files (*.odn) from PQ to Fluke\Power Analyze. If you also have reports (*.doc) or tolerance curves (*.utc and *.ctc) in the PQ directory you may also move them to Fluke\Power Analyze\Reports respectively Fluke\Power Analyze\Tolerance Curves

3.      When you want to apply an external voltage tolerance curve in Events view the new curve will not be applied immediately. Once the file is applied you need to switch to a built in curve and then back to the custom curve to get the curve visible.

4.      When you use the cursor keys in Live – Harmonics to navigate from one harmonic to the next sometimes the cursor label switches to a different phase.

5.      It is not recommended to use a continuous data connection via Bluetooth (e.g. when Live - Scope is shown) and an Ethernet connection to Power Analyze at the same time.

6.      When downloading data from the instrument it is not always possible to retrieve only the selected time range. In case of a download which starts on a power settings change sometimes also previous data is loaded which causes to split the file. The second file which is created after splitting the file will contain the measurement data.

7.      Use of the power configuration 2.5 Element Wye is not recommended. Only in rare situations is the missing third voltage calculated correctly.

8.      After creating an Auto Report the configured parameters are restored when the Auto Report dialog is reopened. Please note that the start and end time change back to the entire measurement duration.

9.      Creating Auto Report with more than about 100 pages (depending on the system configuration) may result in a warning that the system is out of memory. Please review the Auto Report configuration. The most likely cause of extra large file is that the time split is set to daily on a very long measurement file.  This is caused by the way RTF stores graphical information these files can be large. Please note that Microsoft Word cannot open files which are bigger than 500 Mbytes. Store the report in either *.doc or *.docx format to save disk space.
